Review: Makeup Revolution x Soph Extra Spice Eyeshadow Palette

Today, I'll be reviewing and talking about the pros and cons of this palette and why or why not you should skip or add this to your collection. As always, all opinions are my own.

One of the reasons why I like this palette is that it has a good mix of both matte and shimmers.

-You can go from daytime to nighttime with just two to three shades.

-It's also a good deal for $15, you can get 18 eyeshadows that go from neutral, berry, olive to a sunset eye look.

Here are the swatches from Top to Bottom for the first two rows:

Everyday

Running Late

Infinity

Cheesecake

Cookie Dough

Dreams

Vitamin C

Sweet n Sour

Twenty One

Romance

Enchanted

Lakes

Here's the last row of swatches:

Brownies

Chocolate Orange

Mulled Wine

LA Sun

Aurora

Reputation

Some cons are

-Can be a bit patchy and contain a lot of fall out when you apply eyeshadow

-With fallout, you can always tap off the excess and also use a Q-tip with lotion to remove where it's fallen

-Working on the eyes first then the face because if I do my face makeup first, the likelihood is the shadow and fallout will end up a little on my cheeks

Here, I did an olive look for those wondering how to create a look using the olive shimmer shade in the palette.

I got this look by using a mix of two different eyeshadow palettes.

First, I blended in my crease: Cookie Dough and packed in Cheesecake and Chocolate Orange to get that dark brown look while also tapping off excess shadow each time.

Next, I took out this customized palette I made with some single pressed eyeshadows from Colourpop and MUG (Makeup Geek).

I used the shade, Dirty Martini, all over the lid before putting Aurora from the Extra Spice Palette to give it that pop of shimmer to make the look pop.

I finished off the look using Lancome Cils Booster XL Primer and Hypnose Drama Mascara and did my face makeup using the Weylie Hoang Butter Collection.

So what are your thoughts on this palette? Have you heard of Soph and if you haven't, are you going to check her out? Her handles are as follows, Youtube/IG: sophdoeslife and soph

This is the Butter Collection x Weylie Hoang collab that features some limited edition blushes and highlighters.              I bought this from Depop and the reason why not many people have talked about it is that this was released back in Ja...
