Butter Collection x Weylie Hoang Palette Review

Happy Friday! Michaels, Target, and everyone else is ready for Christmas with Pillsbury sugar cookies and Starbucks Holiday red cups today, have you decorated for Christmas now, or are you waiting until after Thanksgiving?

Today, I'll be reviewing a palette that not many people have spoken about either on Instagram or Youtube. This is the Butter Collection x Weylie Hoang collab that features some limited edition blushes and highlighters.

I bought this from Depop and the reason why not many people have talked about it is that this was released back in January/ February of this year. Then they released another collaboration with Casey Holmes before that as well. When I swatched this, I found it to be very smooth similar to the texture of butter and its smooth application is due to the hydrating ingredients such as Murumuru Butter, Cupacu Butter, and Tacoma Butter, so you get this silky feel that's never dry/powdery and gets you a guaranteed smooth finish each time.

Swatches: Top to Bottom (Whimsical, Golden Hour, Apricot, Wildflower, Deep Bronzer, and Sunset Bronzer)

Highlighters: Whimsical - Pink highlighter with gold running through
Golden Hour - Rose Gold highlighter

                 Blushes:      Apricot - Peach blush
                                    Wildflower - Mauve blush

Bronzers:     Deep Bronzer - Golden tan with a satin finish
Sunset Bronzer - Deep taupe with a satin finish

Wearing: Golden Hour on the cheeks

Upon applying this, I remember Weylie's tricks on one of the ways she likes to use this palette. I used a light hand to do a contour with the Sunset Bronzer and then went ahead to blend both the Apricot and Wildflower onto my cheeks. To finish off the look, I then put on the Golden Hour highlight and she's blinding so be sure to use a light hand and there's your glow from within!

Pros: You can also use the blushes as an eyeshadow so it's not only for the cheeks
Buttery smooth texture and finish
Smells like coconuts
Gives the effortless glow Weylie spoke about
caters to all skin tones

I wouldn't say that there are any cons other than how it's limited edition and does contain shimmer in the blush/highlight while also being a fragranced product.

**If those cons do apply, then feel free to skip.

Review: Makeup Revolution x Soph Extra Spice Eyeshadow Palette

Today, I'll be reviewing and talking about the pros and cons of this palette and why or why not you should skip or add this to your collection. As always, all opinions are my own.  One of the reasons why I like this palette is that it has a good mix of both matte and shimmers.  -You can go from daytime to nighttime with just two to three shades.  -It's also a good deal for $15, you can get 18 eyeshadows that go from neutral, berry, olive to a sunset eye look.  Here are the swatches from Top to Bottom for the first two rows:  Everyday  Running Late Infinity Cheesecake Cookie Dough Dreams Vitamin C  Sweet n Sour  Twenty One Romance Enchanted Lakes Here's the last row of swatches: Brownies Chocolate Orange Mulled Wine LA Sun Aurora Reputation Some cons are  -Can be a bit patchy and contain a lot of fall out when you apply eyeshadow  -With fallout, you can always tap off the excess and also use a Q-tip with lotion to remove where it's...
